she remembers - sin in the world of man is just like old maid. everybody tries to push the single old maid card into each others' hands. the game isn't about winning; it's about finding a single person to sacrifice - the loser. someone draws the old maid, someone has to carry man's sin. someone has to be sacrificed.
rika also understands being killed by the person you love most. but the circumstances still make this a very different thing; they change whether it's something to be grateful for or to feel betrayed by.
